Can Ostrea trust Windowpane with his pearls?

She was a windowpane oyster, still, a modest girl
who wore one solitary, luminous pearl.
He was Ostrean, as in down under
the sea he composed in C.

“I see what you did there,” she said.
He chatted her up and they shared a bed.

Ostrean, being Ostrean, bragged about the size of his pearls
he’s an oyster with a vivid imagination, boys and girls,
but check this: She made his pearls into a necklace.
