Raptured

Drag queens, sexual assaults, and sky devils

It doesn’t take that much, from what I read in the papers.

Matt Schlapp, leader of the Conservative Union, is being sued for sexual assault by a fellow conservative whose cock he grabbed and tried to choke to death. People like Schlapp have known how to handle these kinds of situations since they were children, and learned how to lie.

Use your more powerful position to destroy them.

So Navarro was just joking, but it turns out there are pictures of Santos in drag. Being an experienced drag queen might be the only thing that can save him from an angry mob of straight men wanting to hook up for rough sex. Kigara Ravache clutches her handbag and, click, click, click slips right through them in her high heels, unnoticed. Almost. There’s an Irishman who fancies her. Close on Santos’ face, panicky as Mickey grabs him by the pussy. Hilarity ensues.

Overused and dated plot line, I’m sure.

So … Navarro gets a reply under her post, from Bruna Benevides, an exaggerated blonde bombshell with a dish of cream in her voice, who says, “Ask him about Kitara Ravache.” What Navarro thought a preposterous, and thus funny, suggestion, was, instead, right on the money. Pictures of Santos as a drag queen surfaced, and Republicans … didn’t seem to notice.

It’s not much of a move from Trump to Santos.

With Trump, there was the usual deal with the devil, which is, always, the end justifies the means. This is where the Republicans achieved liftoff, corrupting the government for control over women. Any means is worth keeping misogyny legal and god male. Speaker McCarthy decided to keep Santos around, and even bought him lingerie.

You can’t get an end that is different from the means.

They are one thing. But once they’ve sold their souls, Republicans belong to a devil clever enough to sell them real estate in the sky. They are raptured, cut loose from earth to be lifted up into a fantasy world. They might make it back and they might not. It depends on how they respond to meds.
