The best lies have an element of truth but cast a negative light on what is benign. Of course it is all publicly available. Nor had it been contradicted by anybody. When you focus down on details such as that Musk did not start Tesla, that he had to partner with a top rocket scientist to learn about rockets, you might be right about the details, but you cannot see the forest for the trees. What possible motive is there to take down Musk other than that is what little people enjoy? And what guy? I was wondering that myself.. I don't like to believe things when I don't even know the source, and it is hidden. I agree with Hume that when somebody studies nonsense they ineveitably end up believing it. One idiotic bit of gossip is that Musk is a rich man's son. He supports his father, whose current net worth is two million.
